Smart Works Case Study

Situation
- We support a select number of charities close to our heart, ideally those that have an ED&I, careers or employability element. Over the last couple of years, we have partnered with West End Women and Girls Centre as well as Smart Works, a national charity that exists to support women to achieve their full potential through employment.
Complication
- Smart Works has grown significantly over the last 3 years. Their regional hub model is proving very successful and they have big ambitions in terms of the number of women they want to reach and support over the next 3 years.
Resolution
- We have partnered with their People team to provide just in time leadership development for their Centre Managers nationally. We have also worked closely with the Smart Works Newcastle Board of Trustees and Centre Management to help them evolve new ways of working.
